As a humanistic, integrative counsellor, I work in a predominately person-centred way. You'll be at the centre of the work and, by establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship, we can encourage the process of growth.

Counselling will allow you to see yourself with greater depth, unpick stuck narratives and gain new perspectives on what has been going on.

Deciding to try counselling can seem daunting. I normally suggest a 15 minute chat to help you decide if you'd like to go ahead. During the call we can discuss what you'd like to bring to counselling and what you can expect from our sessions together.

If you decide to proceed, our first counselling session will give you the opportunity to explore your reasons for coming to counselling in more depth. We'll take it from there at your pace.

I work with adults (18+). Sessions last an hour and can be Zoom, phone or in-person at my home in Braunton, North Devon. The number of sessions varies by individual - we will review your progress regularly and you can, of course, withdraw from therapy at any stage.
